With JangoMail's detailed reports, you can view campaign statistics from the overall group level down to the granular details of the SMTP logs for each recipient.
Reports
On the Reports overview page, there are four areas:
- Campaign Reports
- Transactional Reports
- Toolbar
- Email and Data Usage
On this page you will see sections to view reporting on campaigns, transactional messages, toolbar with additional reporting options and settings, and email and data usage.
Campaign Reports
To view reports and statistics for campaigns, click OPEN CAMPAIGN DASHBOARD:
In Campaign Reports, you will find a record of previously sent messages and messages scheduled for future dates. Data available is based on the Data Retention Policy.
Each message sent or scheduled will be listed with a Campaign ID, Subject, optional Campaign Identifier, Sent date and time, Recipient count, Opens, Clicks, Unsubscribes, Bounces, and Complaints. If you have the option to pause a sending message, a pause icon will show in next to the campaign's Subject.
Transactional Reports
If you send transactional emails, you can find reporting and statistics by going to OPEN TRANSACTIONAL DASHBOARD:
A list of all transactional messages available is displayed. Each transactional message will be listed with a transactional ID, optional Custom ID, To Email Address, From Email Address, Subject, Sender, Sent (date & timestamp), (transactional) Group, message Size, Status, and a link to the message SMTP Log.
Transactional Reports can be filtered for a specific time frame, email address, or other details.
- To filter transactional message reports, click on the Filter icon in the Search box.
- Specify criteria in one or more fields to sort Transactional Reports by different criteria, including: Transactional message ID, Email Address, From Email Address, Custom ID, Recipient Domain, Sender, Transactional Group, Send Date, Subject, IP Address and Status.
- After specifying criteria, click SEARCH.
- Click EXPORT for to download the filtered report as CSV or Microsoft Excel sheet.
Toolbar
In the top-right of Reports is the Toolbar. The Toolbar includes the following: Disengagements, Logs, Tools and Report Settings.
- Hover over Disengagements to go to Bounces, Unsubscribes, Unsubscribed Domains, and Global Suppression.
- Hover over Logs to go to Standard API or Transactional Event API.
- Hover over Tools to access the Delivery Optimizer.
- Choose Report Settings to specify the Time Zone for your account. The default Time Zone for an account is UTC +0.
The Time Zone setting applies to the following:
- Scheduling Campaigns via the JangoMail Interface
- Campaign Reports
- Transactional Reports
By default, reports are shown in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). SMTP logs will always be displayed utilizing UTC time.

How to Export Report Data
You can export your reporting data in both Campaign Reports and Transactional Message Reports.
How to Export in Campaign Reports: |
Click Export to download the history of your campaigns. Use the filter to search for specific campaigns, with the option to export a report after your search is complete: For campaign specific details, you must open the desired data (such as opens, clicks, bounces), filter if desired, and export from there. |
