To view reports and statistics for campaigns, click OPEN CAMPAIGN DASHBOARD:
In Campaign Reports, you will find a record of sent campaigns and campaigns scheduled for future dates. Data available is based on JangoMail's Data Retention Policy.
Each campaign sent or scheduled will be listed with a Campaign ID, Subject, optional Campaign Identifier, Sent date and time, Recipient count, Opens, Clicks, Unsubscribes, Bounces, and Complaints. If you have the option to pause a sending campaign, the pause icon will show next the the Campaign's Subject.
Reports are updated automatically and in real-time. Reports show by default in the Eastern Standard Time Zone and can be changed in Reports > Management Reports & Tools > Report Settings.
Campaign ID
Each message created is assigned a unique Campaign ID. The Campaign ID can be viewed next to each campaign in Campaigns or in Reports.
Subject
Click on the Subject for additional reporting information:
Campaign Identifier
If you assigned a Campaign Identifier, you will see under the campaign's subject "Identifier:" with a value. Campaign Identifiers are optional fields for messages that allow you to uniquely name your campaigns. You can browse, sort, and search your campaigns by the Identifier field in Reports.
Spam Score
JangoMail integrates with SpamAssassin to offer a way to monitor the content of your messages. You will see a Spam Score assigned to all campaigns sent through JangoMail.
Recipients
The hyperlinked number in the Recipients column is the total number of email addresses that messages were sent. This number is calculated by subtracting any email addresses removed during Preprocessing from the original total number of recipients.
Opens
View details on opened emails by clicking on the hyperlinked number in the Opens column. JangoMail tracks any HTML email sent and collects information each time that message is opened by its recipients. Read information on Open Tracking here.
You will see a count for Unique Opens and Total Opens. Total Opens includes a count of all instances that the email was opened. Unique Opens is a count of all opens with only one instance for each email address that opened accounted for once. The Unique Opens percentage is calculated by taking the number of unique opens divided by Recipients.
The first column gives the overall Raw Data for all Opens tracked. Sort the Opens data by clicking the following tabs: By Domain, By Domain/Sender, By Recipient, By Email Client, By Time, Map, and Charts.
Clicks
To view Clicks reporting data, click on the hyperlinked number in the Clicks column. The first column gives the overall Raw Data for all Clicks tracked. Sort the Clicks data by clicking on the following tabs: By Domain, By Recipient, By URL, By Time, Map, Charts, Visual Overlay.
Under Raw Data, you will see info for each Email Address sent to with URL clicked, Position of URL, Date, Format (HTML or Text version of message for URL clicked), Browser, IP Address, Country Code, Region, City and Zip Code.
Click on the Visual Overlay tab to view your Clicks data as an overlay on top of any HTML or text email campaign. This gives you a visual of your message's content, location of the links within your message, and how well each click performed.
Geo Tracking
IP Address and Browser Tracking allow you to monitor what organizations and which email clients/browsers are being used by your email campaign recipients. JangoMail provides IP transparency to view individual server/IP addresses in a campaign. View deliverability reports by domain.
View your opens and clicks visually on Google Maps. To view this information, click on Raw Data for Open or Clicks or on the Map tab. On the Map tab, you will first see a visual Google Map. Use the dropdown to choose your view of Opens/Clicks and Markers/Heatmap. Scroll down past the Google Map to view details of the email address open or click data with geo tracking details. This data will list Email Address, Date, IP Address, Country Code, Region, City, and Zip Code.
Unsubscribes, Bounces and Complaints
View unsubscribes, bounces and complaints by campaign by clicking on the hyperlinked number under each corresponding column. View a list of all email addresses for each category by going to Reports > Management Reports & Tools.
To view bounces, click on the hyperlinked number under the Bounces column. A list of all bounces for that campaign will be shown, including the bounce message reflected on those bounces.
We track your unsubscribes and record them automatically via unsubscribe links and complaint feedback loops. Read here to learn more about managing your unsubscribes and bounces.
Blocks
A block is a type of non-delivery to a recipient (email address/member) due to the recipient’s mail server rejecting the message. Block details are available for 10 days. Blocks should be treated differently from bounces. These addresses should NOT be removed from your list(s), but should be retried after several hours from the original send.
SMTP Logs
Self-assess deliverability by viewing the SMTP log for any recipient. JangoMail offers transparency in deliverability via SMTP logs to confirm message acceptance.
SMTP logs are available for 15 days. After 15 days, the log will no longer be available and give the message "The log for this message could not be found".
Google Analytics Integration
Track activity resulting from an email campaign using JangoMail's integration with Google Analytics. This feature allows you to determine precisely where a user moves throughout your website after having clicked a link to your site in an email. You can determine what pages your visitors are viewing most frequently, and you can also determine how successful your email campaigns are in converting visitors into purchasers on your website.
