JangoMail utilizes a Global Suppression List that is applied to all JangoMail and JangoSMTP accounts. When any user sends an email that results in a definitive bounce, this email address is added to the Global Suppression List.
If you attempt to send a message to an address that's on the Global Suppression List, JangoMail accepts the message, but doesn't send it. For broadcast senders, you will see these suppressed and removed during preprocessing. For transactional senders via SMTP relay, you will get a SMTP Error. For transactional senders via API, you will receive a failure. Receiving this type of send error is the only way to know if an address is on the global suppression list. You cannot query the Global Suppression List.
How to Remove an Address from the Global Suppression List
If you believe an email address to be valid, you may log in to your account to request removal:
1. Go to Reports > Toolbar > hover over Disengagements > Global Suppression List.
2. Enter the email address to be removed and click REMOVE THIS ADDRESS. If the email address you enter is on the Global Suppression List, we will remove it immediately.
Note: You may request removal of one email address at a time, up to 5 per hour.
