Click Tracking allows you to see when a recipient has clicked on links in your message. Report details will show you which recipients clicked a link, which link was clicked, and how many times it was clicked.
Enable Click Tracking
By default, Click Tracking is turned off automatically for broadcast messages. Click tracking is enabled automatically for transactional messages sent via SMTP relay. This can be enabled or disabled when composing a message under the message's Tracking tab. New messages will use the Click Tracking setting last specified in a sent message. If you copy a previous message and copy the message's properties, it will retain the Click Tracking setting.
How Click Tracking Works
Click Tracking causes all links and URLs in your message to resolve to JangoMail's servers. If you use a Custom Tracking Domain, links and URLs will resolve to your branded tracking domain.
View Click Reporting
JangoMail distinguishes in Reports between the first "Unique" click and additional clicks that count towards your "Total" clicks. Only unique clicks are recorded on the Report Dashboard in the Clicks column, as Clicks. Click on the number of Clicks to view all clicks for a specific campaign or transactional group.
Note: Clicks are not tracked on the View as Webpage link or its contents.
