Campaigns that have been scheduled for sending, currently preprocessing, or currently sending, can be paused.
Note: No changes can be made to a paused (sent) message. If you need to make changes to the message, you will want to keep the campaign paused and send a new campaign.
If you pause a campaign, JangoMail will email you daily reminders alerting you that you have a paused email campaign, and that you have 7 days after the Pause date to Resume your email campaign.
How to Pause a Campaign
There are two ways to pause a campaign. You can pause it immediately after hitting Send (on the confirmation popup window) or in Reports while its still preprocessing or sending.
1. How to Pause Campaign Immediately After Hitting Send
Once you have hit Send on your message, you are given a confirmation popup. Here you are able to hit Pause immediately. For the best chance at fully stopping the message from sending, hit the Pause link within seconds of the popup appearing.
2. How to Pause Campaign in Reports During Preprocessing/Sending
Navigate to Reports → Open Campaign Dashboard → click Pause icon, during preprocessing or sending phase
