SMTP logs show the communication between the email sender JangoMail used for your message and the recipient's email server.
If you need to troubleshoot delivery, you can view the SMTP log for every recipient of a campaign or transactional message after it has been sent.
Example SMTP Log:
9/22/2022 19:33:14 2043130.13926309329 support@jangomail.com - |
SMTP logs are always shown in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and are viewable for 15 days.
How do I know if my message was successfully delivered?
SMTP logs provide a wealth of information. To confirm that the recipient server did in fact accept your message for delivery, look for the following in the SMTP response:
- 250 OK
- 250
- 250 2.0.0 OK
- Message ###### accepted
- Queued for delivery
Once the message has been accepted for delivery, it's in the hands of the receiving server to move it into your recipient's inbox.
