Tool: Scrub List Members

JangoMail's Scrub List Members is a tool that allows you to easily maintain your list.

Scrub List Members can do the following: 

• Remove duplicates (keeping the first or last record)
• Remove invalid email addresses (that are not properly formed, i.e. missing "@" or ".com")
• Remove non-definitive bounced addresses that have bounced 3 or more times 
• Remove definitive bounced email addresses
• Remove unsubscribed email addresses from list
• Remove unconfirmed email addresses (in lists with confirmed opt-in)
• Remove email addresses on my domain suppression list (domains that have been added to your account's unsubscribe list)
• Remove email addresses on the global suppression list 
• Remove email addresses on the global domain suppression list 

How to Scrub a List

1. Go to Lists > click to choose a list
2. In the Toolbar under Remove > click on Scrub List Members
3. Choose the tab for SCRUB NOW or SCRUB BY SCHEDULE
4. Select the scrub actions you wish to perform or click "select all" 
5. Click the SCRUB NOW button
   1. Allow time for the list to be scrubbed. JangoMail will send an email notification to the account manager when the list scrub is complete

How to Simulate a List Scrub

You also have the option to see the results of a list scrub without actually performing the scrub. 

1. Go to Lists > click to choose a list
2. In the Toolbar under Remove > click on Scrub List Members
3. Choose the tab for SCRUB NOW 
4. Select the scrub actions you wish to perform or click "select all" 
5. Click the SIMULATE SCRUB button
   1. Allow time for the list to be scrubbed. JangoMail will send an email notification to the account manager when the simulated list scrub is complete

How to Automate List Scrubs

Save time by automating list scrubs. To automate the Scrub tool:

1. Go to Lists > click to choose a list
2. In the Toolbar under Remove > click on Scrub List Members
3. Choose the tab for SCRUB BY SCHEDULE
4. Click to select "Scrub this list on a schedule" 
5. Select the scrub actions you wish to perform or click "select all" 
6. Use the dropdown to select a scrub schedule. Options include: Daily, Weekly, & Monthly
7. Click the SAVE SCHEDULE button
