JangoMail offers easy access to email Automation features. Available as its own section, all you need to do is click the tab from the toolbar to be taken to a screen where you can select your choice of Automation features: Autoresponders, Recurring Messages, and Triggers.
If you are not familiar with JangoMail Automation, these are features that you can use to automate your email messages. Examples would be a welcome email, thank you email, or even an order confirmation email. Select one of three different options to set up automated messages. Not sure which one to select? Read below for a breakdown.
Autoresponders are automated emails that are directly connected to an email address being added to a list you host with your JangoMail account. Examples of Autoresponder emails are automatically sending a welcome email by adding an email address to a list or sending a thank you email to customers completing a form on your website. Set up one Autoresponder or set up a series of Autoresponders, also known as drip campaigns.
Recurring Messages are automated emails that regularly send based on scheduled dates or times. Examples of recurring messages can include birthday emails or account balance emails that would send based off a date in your list. This type of email is best used to send the same email regularly but with targeted information from your list or database.
Triggers are emails sent to a recipient based on an action they perform on a campaign. Emails can be triggered to send for actions such as a user opening an email, clicking on a link, or visiting a page on your website.
