Protecting your information and the information of your customers is extremely important to us.
Below, we have put together some information to some of the questions we get from customers. It is the aim of this article to explain the integrity with which JangoMail keeps your information safe.
First, let’s start with the physical. JangoMail hosts its servers in SSAE-16 audited data centers that are secured using biometric scanners, along with a host of other security features to provide maximum security of your private data. We have a staff of professional technicians on call 24/7 that are backed by an engineering team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, we have detailed failover programs in place in the event that a catastrophic failure (“act of God”) should occur at one of our facilities.
Hardware security would not be anything without stringent software security. In this regard, all account passwords use cryptographic hash encryption. Our account databases are kept separate and mirrored off site for data integrity. All login pages into the JangoMail and JangoSMTP interfaces are SSL encrypted. We have brute force attack protection on both our interface and API. Our privacy policy is monitored by TRUSTe and we are EU SafeHarbor compliant.
We also take great strides in making sure malicious users are removed from our network as fast as can be detected. We actively monitor all accounts and suspend/terminate in the event we feel their sending or data could be a risk to other users. These are not simply algorithms running in our monitoring software—there are actual humans that stand behind these decisions to give our system an extra layer of security.
JangoMail keeps customer security as a top priority when updating our existing products. In this regard, we leverage OWASP, CSRC, IEEE, & IETF reports to make sure we always take the right approach to our products and services. JangoMail goes far beyond the few measures that are listed on this page, but due to the nature of security that we must keep on the internet today, we do not want to discuss them publicly.
That being said, if you have any questions regarding security and your JangoMail or JangoSMTP account, please contact our support and we will be happy to discuss how we are keeping your data safe.
JangoMail takes customer concerns very seriously. If you have any questions, contact our Support Team. |
